I’m Katie, an interdisciplinarian at heart with a diverse background spanning biotech, design/engineering, and sales.

I began in Industrial Design (Georgia Tech), got a Master’s in Bioengineering (UCSD), worked in drug discovery automation/robotics, then traveled the world in scientific capital equipment sales.

I really found my stride when I moved into recruiting. My diverse experience helps me connect deeply with clients and candidates across a wide range of functions. I quickly became a top producer at my firm and built two of our principal client accounts. 

In launching Covalent Recruiting, I’m building an agile, cross-functional model to help clients build exceptional teams and deliver value in an ever-changing innovation landscape.

I believe deeply in the importance of science and technology, and in the people bold enough to make it work… whether that’s here in the U.S. or around the world.
